Peter and Anneliese Böhmcker founded Moringa Safaris in 1972.
André is the third generation to own Moringa Safaris and he is assisted by his wife Maxie and his two sons Kevin and Marco.
On Moringa Hunting Farm you will find one of the largest Moringa tree occurrences in Namibia.
The Namibian climate in winter (April-September) is warm during the day, but cold in the morning and evening, so a warm jacket is recommended. There are occasional rain storms in February and March. In October and November the climate is very hot and dry, it is recommended that you bring a broad brimmed hat and sunscreen with high factor protection.

Moringa Hunting Safaris is located 140kms northwest of the state capital Windhoek in Namibia and 44kms from Okahandja on the B2.
The drive to Moringa Safaris takes about 1.5 hours from Windhoek. On the B2 there is a sign "Moringa" on the left side, here you turn right and drive another 20 kilometers to the guesthouse. The gravel road has crossing gates, so that our guests who have a rental cars, may travel in safety.

Moringa Hunting Farm is spacious, with beautiful landscaped gardens and a swimming pool to cool off and relax in after your long journey. Delicious meals are freshly prepared and served in the lapa. Moringa offers 5 comfortable double rooms (with shower & WC) and is ideal for families with children or larger groups. A mobile network and internet access via WIFI is available.
Moringa Hunting Farm’s kitchen spoils the guests with traditional African dishes and German-south-western home-style cooking. In the evenings a fire is made to barbeque the game that you have hunted during the day.
Moringa Hunting Farm has a selection of South African wines and the well known Tafel Lager beer amongst others.
André Böhmcker is a state-certified Professional Hunter, registered with NAPHA and has 32 years’ experience in the hunting industry in Namibia. During hunting safaris on the farm he is always acco"mpanied by his two experienced hunting dogs. The hunting season starts on 1 February and ends on 30 November. Only two hunters at a time are ever out hunting on the 15,000 ha farm which has good game stocks. Hunting rifles are also available to rent.
Moringa Hunting Farm offers numerous hunting packages giving you ample opportunities to hunt trophy game. During an eight to fourteen-day safari (hunting and / or rest day), hunting guests have a good chance of hunting mature trophies from the Greater Kudu, Oryx, Springbok, Warthog, and numerous other species. Stalking prey is ideally done in the early morning or late afternoon. Game drives and waterholes give you the opportunity to observe over 20 different species of game and to experience nature at its best.
